Bhavnagar Heritage has worked tirelessly to bring the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to recognize the need for restoring Gangaderi. Thanks to our advocacy, the restoration project has begun, focusing on preserving the original structure and reviving its lost charm. Efforts include strengthening foundations, repairing carvings, and maintaining the monument's authenticity. Bhavnagar Heritage extends its gratitude to ASI for initiating this important project.

Why Restoration is Important ?

Gangaderi is more than just an architectural monument—it is a living piece of Bhavnagar’s history. The restoration will not only protect this cultural asset from further deterioration but also serve as an educational resource for locals and visitors alike. By reviving Gangaderi, we are ensuring that future generations can experience the grandeur of Bhavnagar’s heritage.

With the restoration of Gangaderi now in progress, Bhavnagar Heritage looks back on its dedicated efforts to revive this historic site. Over the years, we have hosted various heritage walks, musical performances, and cleaning initiatives to ensure the monument remained vibrant. As restoration moves forward, future generations will be able to connect with a monument that holds deep historical and cultural significance, bridging them to the past.
